In February students have created art work in the style of famous African-American Artist, Faith Ringgold. Faith wrote the book "Tar Beach" and painted on story quilts. We also learned about the Kuna Indians of Panama and their Molas (which are sewn like Faithe's art.)

Students have been learning about Asian art.

This month we learned about Egyptian art.
